Mom's Quiche Lorraine

Mom's Quiche Lorraine

Having a couple go-to recipes in the breakfast bank makes throwing a brunch easy-peasy. My mom’s quiche Lorraine is a family favorite and so quick...who knew?! Serve alongside fruit, pastries, and of course mimosas and coffee, and you’ve got it made!

MOM’S QUICHE LORRAINE

INGREDIENTS:
1 pie crust (I used frozen...my mom would home-make)
1 pound fries and diced bacon
1 1/2 cups grated Swiss cheese
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
Dash of nutmeg, black pepper, and cayenne pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Line a pie plate with the crust. Crumble bacon and spread bottom of pie shell. Sprinkle grated cheese on top. In a small bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and spices. Pour egg mixture on top of bacon and cheese.
Bake for 35-40 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
